Grant to fight human trafficking accepted by Queen Creek Council

A grant from the Arizona Department of Emergency and Military Affairs for equipment and services related to anti-human-trafficking operations in an amount not to exceed $185,500, was approved by the Queen Creek Town Council.

The item was on the council’s consent agenda at its Wednesday meeting. Items on the consent agenda are approved or rejected with one vote unless a council member or member of the public asks that an item be removed for a separate discussion or vote.
