The Arizona Department of Transportation is advising drivers to plan for overnight lane restrictions along Grand Avenue between Loop 303 and Litchfield Road for pavement replacement beginning Sunday, Nov. 6.
The work will be done on a Sunday through Thursday night schedule. No restrictions are scheduled on Friday or Saturday nights.
Eastbound Grand Avenue will be reduced to one lane nightly on weeknights from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. beginning Sunday, Nov. 6, through the morning of Friday, Nov. 18.

Grand roadwork set through November in Surprise

The Arizona Department of Transportation is advising drivers to plan for overnight lane restrictions along Grand Avenue between Loop 303 and Litchfield Road for pavement replacement beginning Sunday, Nov. 6.
The work will be done on a Sunday through Thursday night schedule. No restrictions are scheduled on Friday or Saturday nights.
Eastbound Grand Avenue will be reduced to one lane nightly on weeknights from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. beginning Sunday, Nov. 6, through the morning of Friday, Nov. 18.
Westbound Grand Avenue will be reduced to one lane nightly on weeknights from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. beginning Monday, Nov. 14, through the morning of Wednesday, Nov. 23.
Crews will mill the roadway to remove the existing asphalt, then repave and apply temporary lane stripes along the roadway.
ADOT advises drivers to slow down and use caution around maintenance personnel and equipment in all work zones.
