Grand jury indicts suspects in violent East Valley home invasion

Three men have been indicted in connection with a Chandler home invasion during which an elderly man was reportedly pistol-whipped and his daughter shot, authorities said Wednesday, while another trio faces charges for trying to help the men leave the country, according to the Maricopa County Attorney’s Office. Jesus Sandoval, 18, Jorge Jurado Martinez, 17, and Kevin Tristan, 17, have been indicted in the June 6 home invasion. The men accused of helping two of the home invasion suspects attempt to flee the country through the southern border have each been charged with hindering prosecution in the first degree. They are Pete Canez, 65, Robert Rosas, 59, and Anthony Rosas, 39.
