Grand Canyon University conferred its largest graduating class in history on Monday.
Approximately 29,173 received their diplomas during the university's in-person graduation at GCU Arena amid the COVID-19 pandemic, GCU announced in a news release.
More commencement ceremonies will take place Tuesday and a virtual ceremony will take place on May 15 for adult online students. Online students will have the chance to attend a September in-person ceremony, though that is tentatively scheduled at this time.
