Governing board unanimously approves Peoria Unified superintendent contract

Contract: Reynolds to serve through June 2024

The Peoria Unified School District governing board unanimously approved a new contract for Superintendent Jason Reynolds, extending his stay as the top school official in Peoria through June 2024.

The new agreement comes with a new annual base salary of $232,792.

Reynolds took the helm in January 2020, previously a deputy superintendent, only months before the COVID-19 pandemic struck.
