The nine volunteer directors serving on the Recreation Centers of Sun City West governing board are focused on serving the community and putting personal interests aside.
Tim Hurley, governing board president, said years ago when he first began serving on the board in 2016, he drafted a code of conduct. This after he said he wanted all board members to sign an agreement to act in the best interest of the people in Sun City West and behave while on the board. Including respecting alternative views and act in a professional manner and understand the scope and limitations of the board’s responsibilities.
“I believe it is important as a way to tell owner-members the board will act in their best interest,” he explained.
