Governing board election nears

The current governing board for the Recreation Centers of Sun City West is running with eight, rather than nine directors.

Director Gerry O’Connor resigned Jan. 4 and the board approved to finish the remainder of the fiscal year, which ends June 30, with an eight person board. Mr. O’Connor resigned for personal reasons.

“We have faced this issue in the past, and it all is about the timing,” George Kuchtyak, RCSCW board president, said.
