Governing board approves agreement to determine Echo Mesa work

Familiar face consulting on second course

Recreation Centers of Sun City West officials have a company ready to go to provide them with information on what will be needed for work at Echo Mesa Golf Course.

This agreement will address consulting work needed to provide land surveying, irrigation design work, civil engineering, landscape architecture, field staking and the facilitation of the bidding process to determine how much improvement work at Echo Mesa, 20349 N. Echo Mesa Drive, will cost in the 2024-25 capital year.

RCSCW General Manager Bill Schwind said this type of agreement is exempt from bidding, but requires approval from the general manager and the board, according to the association’s procurement policy.
