Gov. Hobbs to appear at Surprise homeless shelter opening

HomeBase Surprise hosting grand opening Feb. 2

Gov. Katie Hobbs will be in Surprise Thursday, Feb. 2 for the grand opening of HomeBase Surprise, a 40-bed shelter housing program for homeless youth.

It happens at 10 a.m. at 12215 W. Bell Road.

Tours will be given from 9 to 10 a.m., when the opening ceremony will take place.
