ELECTION 2026

Goreé, Baker start to focus on Glendale council priorities

What was hopeful on election night became official before July ended.

Newcomers Lisa Baker and Rory Goreé will join the Glendale City Council in December. The council will have a special meeting at 9 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 4 in City Hall, 5850 W. Glendale Ave., to make the canvass of votes cast in the July 21 primary election official.

Knowing they were in the lead on election night, Baker and Goreé discussed some of the first issues they want to bring to the table, both in their district and city wide.
