Google ‘Red Hawk’ data center design discussed by Mesa board

The look and landscaping for the first of three phases of a Google data center were discussed at a recent meeting of the Mesa Design Review Board.

The 187-acre industrial development to be constructed west of Sossaman Road and north of Elliot Road is known as Project “Red Hawk.”

The development in the employment opportunity zone includes design guidelines such as enhanced landscaping along the street, Staff Planner Cassidy Welch said.
