Goodyear transportation upgrade could cost $476M

The city of Goodyear may be looking to update its transportation network plan as fast growth and other factors push at the city’s infrastructure.

The cost of keeping pace with growth, however, could be pricey, with city officials estimating that current work combined with what may be needed in the future could top $476 million.

Goodyear Planning & Zoning Commission heard about the latest data and information on current city issues in key roadway and transportation issues during its Feb. 15 meeting.
