Goodyear to widen 2-lane road near Cotton and Yuma

The Goodyear City council approved funds to temporarily build additional lanes near Cotton Lane and Yuma Road.

The project entitled “42053” is expected to cost approximately $3 million.

Initially, the project looked at adding a lane to Yuma Road and a possible additional southbound tapered lane to Cotton Lane. However, to meet legal traffic requirements and minimal engineering standards, some other nuisance is required.
