Goodyear to launch new rideshare service

Rollout begins Nov. 14 and is free for the month

Goodyear’s new ride-sharing service, dubbed WeRIDE, will launch Nov. 14, according to a city announcement.

Riders in select locations can pay as little as $1 for each ride within designated pick-up and drop-off areas, mainly around central Goodyear.

The city has been discussing plans to launch a so-called “micro-transit” service for the better part of a year.
