ASU, West Valley city to expand business building services for entrepreneurs

The Goodyear City Council has approved an intergovernmental agreement with the Arizona Board of Regents, on behalf of Arizona State University, to enhance the city’s InnovationHub programming through a new one-year partnership.

The agreement, approved as part of the city’s fiscal year 2026 budget, outlines a $75,000 collaboration between ASU and Goodyear’s Economic Development Division to jointly plan, market and execute a range of entrepreneurial programs through June 30, 2026. Payments will be made quarterly upon completion of specific milestones and deliverables.

Located on the second floor of the Georgia T. Lord Library at Civic Square, the InnovationHub was established in 2014 and serves as a resource center for small business owners and entrepreneurs.
