The city of Goodyear has again extended a deadline for development and a revamped plan at what was once planned to be a regional shopping center.
Goodyear City Council approved an agreement with Globe Land Investors LLC to push off a deadline for a second phase of improvements and a major plan restructuring on land near McDowell Road and Bullard Avenue until Feb. 28, 2023.
The deadline originally was to be Dec. 13, but the extension extends sales tax reimbursements and pre-paid fees totalling about $12 million.
