One of Goodyear’s own competed in the latest season of American Ninja Warrior, a popular NBC sports reality TV show in which ‘ninjas’ compete to overcome a variety of obstacle courses.
Mike Beadle, a recreation superintendent with the city of Goodyear, has an impressive season 14 run, making it all the way to the semi-finals in Los Angeles, and coming just short of qualifying for the Las Vegas finals.
He’s no stranger to extreme sports. The self-described “adrenaline junky” is a former sponsored skateboarder, a sport he still enjoys alongside snowboarding and mountain biking.
