The city of Goodyear is moving forward with a plan from developers with housing, offices, and restaurants in Estrella Falls.
The rezoning of 152 acres near McDowell Road and Bullard Avenue represents the reposition of a property that once was slated to be a regional shopping center. But by approving the plan, the city sets the Globe Management Corp. on the path to bring more projects to the land.
“With each step we take in this project, our dream of an urban, walkable downtown becomes more of a reality,” said Mayor Joe Pizzillo. “This means so much to our residents, and we couldn’t do it without our partners from Globe Corp.”
