Goo Goo Dolls to bring summer tour to Phoenix

Posted

Four-time Grammy-nominated rock band Goo Goo Dolls will return the road in 2025 with a run of summer dates that will include Phoenix.

Kicking off in July, the Summer Anthem Tour 2025 will bring the band to venues coast-to-coast, including a stop at Arizona Financial Theatre on Saturday, July 13.

"We’re busy putting together our 15th studio album so we will have some great new songs and of course we'll be playing all the songs you know and love,” front man John Rzeznik shared in a press release. “Every tour we do is about making new friends and reuniting with everyone who’s been with us since day one.”

The band will perform a career-encompassing set that features multiple songs from their 2022 album “Chaos in Bloom” along with other hits from their complete discography, including their global hit “Iris.”

Dashboard Confessional will be the show’s opening act.

General ticket sales begin at 10 a.m. Friday, Nov. 22 at https://www.googoodolls.com/tour.

In addition, Goo Goo Dolls will be partnering with Joe Torre Safe At Home for the tour, a nonprofit founded in 2002 by Ali and Joe Torre to provide healing and education services to youth who have been traumatized by exposure to violence including domestic violence, child abuse, teen dating abuse and sexual assault to help break the cycle of violence.
