The Recreation Centers of Sun City West will begin for overseeding its golf courses in the next few weeks, resulting in some closures.
The first course, Echo Mesa Golf Course, 20349 N. Echo Mesa Drive, will close Thursday, Sept. 28, and will remain on a four-week closure until Tuesday, Oct. 24. The rye seed is on the property and RCSCW Environmental Services Manager Todd Patty said crews are ready, but the weather has to cooperate and it can’t be too hot.
“We can prep and throw the seed and not water it and turn it on when the weather cools down,” Patty said.
