Gloria Niceler

APACHE JUNCTION - Gloria Niceler lost her battle with cancer and Alzheimer's on May 5, 2016. She was born to Frank and Teresa Franco on Nov. 19, 1936 in Tempe. After a seven year marriage to Sam Niceler, of Stockton, Calif., she moved back to her parents in Tempe. She enjoyed working in the food industry for 45 years until she retired. For her past time she enjoyed watching many of her greyhounds race. Gloria was survived by her two boys, Samuel "Larry" (Karen) Niceler, of Beaver Dam, Wis., and Lenny (Paulette) Niceler of Los Banos, Calif.; one brother, Frank (Diane) Franco, Jr., of Scottsdale; and one sister, Pewa, of Colo. She was preceded in death by her parents, and a special friend, Lee McGuckin. A special thanks to Hospice of the Valley, Villa Ocotillo Nursing Home and Frank (Diane) Franco for assisting in her care and arrangements. As her request, there will be no services.
