Glendale will vote to curb year-round holiday lights

No city code currently exists

Glendale has taken another step toward possibly enacting a city code to curb the display of year-round holiday lights — specifically, Christmas ones.

At a Jan. 26 City Council workshop, the City Code Review Council Committee requested council add language to the city code to regulate the amount of time holiday decorations during any given season are displayed.

The council came to a consensus on the proposal, which means the issue will go before a voting meeting, likely in March.
