Glendale will not raise property tax rate for 6th straight year

For a sixth straight year, Glendale will raise its primary property tax rate.

The City Council made the unanimous decision at its Jan. 12 workshop while focusing on the city’s budget.

“There’s always somewhere to spend money,” Vice Mayor Ray Malnar said. “But this is one of the few, few places that we have given relief to our taxpayers, and I think it is well worth continuing to provide that relief.”
