UPDATE: Glendale voters still split on 2-part bond

Operations campus upgrades failing as of Wednesday

Second-day results released by Maricopa County at 6:50 p.m. Nov. 5 show Glendale voters remain in favor of half of a two-question, $65-million bond proposal with the margins increasing ever so slightly.

Bond question 1 deals with flood control and water retention and is for $30 million. Second-day results show  11,741 votes (52.7%) in favor of this question and 10,555 votes (47.3%) against it.

Bond question 2 focuses on upgrading operations facilities that support city infrastructure maintenance and would be for $35 million. As of election night, it is failing with 10,829 (50.68%) no votes and 10,531 (49.32%) yes votes.
