Glendale Union High School District has a night coming up to help welcome incoming freshmen and their families to high school.
“Future Freshmen Night” takes place at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 17 at all nine high schools: Apollo, Cortez, Glendale, Greenway, Independence, Moon Valley, Sunnyslope, Thunderbird and Washington.
During the event, eighth-grade students and their families will learn about the district’s academics, championship athletics, fine and performing arts courses, resources for college and career opportunities, and more. An Honors and Advanced Placement Academy presentation will be included.
A virtual option will be available.
