Dino’s Git-Down features 5,000 trucks, cars over Veterans Day Weekend at State Farm Stadium

Thousands of American-made custom GM trucks and cars will roll into the 13th annual Dino’s Git-Down this Veterans Day weekend in Glendale.

State Farm Stadium will host the show, which is the largest GM-only truck show in the country and will feature custom and vintage Chevy and GM trucks and cars from all over the U.S., Canada and Mexico. There will be more than 2,500 custom and restored Chevy trucks on display from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Friday, Nov. 10. Then, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 11 there will be 2,500 custom General Motors cars and trucks.

Admission is free.

“We pride ourselves on being family friendly and pets are welcome,” Dino Battilana, event founder and organizer, shared in a press release. “There is something for everyone – from 1947 to 1998 custom trucks of all types.”

More than 40,000 people attended last year’s two-day event, according to organizers. This year there are no truck entry fees, so owners display their vehicles at no cost.

In addition to the GM custom trucks, there will be a vendor expo with more than 150 auto related booths specializing in Chevrolet/GM products offering engines, suspension parts, audio systems, wheels and more. Everything needed to build a custom project will be there.

Also, plenty of food and beverages will be available on site.

“This is one-stop shopping for car enthusiasts,” Battilana stated. “You can go booth to booth talking to vendors to get exactly what you need.

Nonprofits Community Vibes Garage, a California automotive school for teens, and, Dixie K9 Collective, which provides training for first responder K9s, will be on site raising awareness and money for their organizations. HOPE for the Homeless will be selling tickets for their upcoming Chevy C-10 truck raffle.

The new edition of Dino’s Git-Down takes place Nov. 10-11 in Glendale.
