Two West Valley cities in different stages of growth and different parts of their roads’ life cycles are counting on the success of transportation bond proposals in an election a week away.
Both Glendale and Surprise have multi-question proposals broke down into multiple questions. Glendale’ includes a question for $82 million in street and intersection improvements. The Surprise transportation question is for $66 million for five projects across the city.
In both cities, Tuesday, Oct. 31, is the last day to mail back ballot for officials to receive it in time to count on Election Day.
