Detailed audit reveals $47M in trees within Parks system

Managing almost 10,000 trees is a handful, indeed.

Glendale has such a good system down, in fact, it’s tough to think about the “old days.”

The city entered into a program 18 months ago with West Coast Arborist, Inc., which has earned Tree Care Industry Association accreditation during its operation offices in Arizona and California. With a task to catalog and audit every single tree in the city’s parks system, that’s exactly what they set out to do.
