Residents are expressing concerns about details in the city of Glendale’s planned $160 million bond proposal going before voters this fall.
At the city council meeting on Sept, 12, two Glendale residents raised issues about details. James Ho spoke to council looking for more information on the city’s published budget book that details projects proposed in its 10-year capital improvement plan.
“In short, the city’s published budget book describes an objective ranking process of (capital improvement plan) projects using a matrix with weighted criteria, that was developed and approved by the city council. When I requested a copy of this project ranking matrix, the city informed me that no ranking exercise actually occurred,” Ho said.
