Frank Morris Lopez is “a big Glendale nerd.” And he’s earned the right to hang that label on himself.

The 42-year-old was born and raised in Glendale, and today lives just a few streets north of downtown. He moved back home a couple years ago after spending almost a decade in the Boston area.

When he arrived, he found his beloved hometown was different.
