The average credit score of Glendale residents in 2017 is 648.85, according to WalletHub. a finance website.

FICO scores range from 300–850, the higher the score, the lower the risk for lenders.

WalletHub’s analysts compared the average credit scores of residents in 2,534 U.S. cities to give credit where credit is literally and figuratively due. Glendale ranked 1986 on the list.

With negative records from the Great Recession continually dropping off consumers’ credit reports and debt levels pushing toward to pre-recession highs, WalletHub released the study to illustrate which areas need the most work and to help consumers track their progress.

The average American has a credit score of 669 and 10 percent of the largest U.S. cities have "bad" credit.
