Glendale resident Paul Buttermore is the new vice president of inpatient and community living services at Southwest Behavioral & Health Services.
In his new role Buttermore will oversee all Inpatient programs and will expand his areas of responsibility to include community living, residential and housing programs in Maricopa County, as well as programs operating at the Opportunity and Community Resilience Centers.
A licensed professional counselor, Buttermore has more than 15 years experience in the behavioral health industry, most recently as vice president of Crisis and Inpatient Services, responsible for overseeing the agency’s Maricopa County Inpatient Units, Community Recovery Units and Recovery Transition Program.
“Paul has an unwavering dedication and commitment to reaching community members who are often overlooked,” COO Dominic Miller shared in a press release. “He embodies the SB&H mission and is a true champion of others. His promotion is well deserved.”
Buttermore received his Bachelor of Arts in Behavioral Science from Western International University and a Master of Arts in Mental Health Counseling from Argosy University. He is also Marine Corps veteran.
