Glendale proclaims Sept. 14 as Support Latino Business Day

Glendale Mayor Jerry P. Weiers has declared Sept. 14 as Support Latino Business day.

The mayor was joined by longtime business owners of La Purisima Bakery, 4533 W. Glendale Ave., in recognized the day to support locally owned Latino Businesses

Weiers said the city hasn't always done its jobs to support the Latino popualtion, but hopes to grow the city's support.

This was also signed to celebrate Hispanic Heritage month that spans from Sept, 15 through Oct, 15.
