Glendale police seek the public's help in identifying a man who robbed a convenience store earlier this month.

On April 1 at about 2 a.m., Glendale Police Department officers responded to an armed robbery at the Circle K located in the 7400 block of N. 51st Avenue, about 1 mile northeast of Glendale City Court.

The suspect contacted a female customer and had her kneel on the ground while he took her cell phone at gunpoint. He then continued to rob the store.

The suspect is described as a white or Hispanic male, between 25 and 35, 6 feet 2 inches tall and weighs between 160 and 180 pounds. He was seen wearing a gray hooded jacket, a dark shirt, gray pants, gray/white tennis shoes and a navy ski mask. He carried a duffel bag with the Diamondbacks "A" logo. He has tattoos of "602" and the Phoenix bird on the left side of his neck, and a scar on his left elbow. He was carrying a black handgun.

Anyone with any information can call Silent Witness at 480-WITNESS or Glendale Police at 623-930-3000. There is a cash reward up to $1,000. Police advise to not approach this individual as he is considered armed and dangerous. Call 911 in the event of an emergency.
