Glendale police need help identifying suspects involved in a robbery from December of last year.

Just before 3 a.m. on Sunday, Dec. 18, 2022, Glendale police responded to a report of a strong-armed robbery near the 5900 block of West Bethany Home Road. A subject, who was attempting to obtain alcohol after the legally mandated time, was asked to leave by the victim, a clerk for Circle K.

The suspect proceeded to choke the victim multiple times and caused the victim to sustain broken bones, according to police. The suspect then went to the cooler where he obtained alcohol and exited the store without purchasing it, police say.

The suspect has been identified as a Hispanic male with black hair. The suspect vehicle is a silver, four door Mercedes Benz.

Glendale Police Department Violent Crimes Detectives are investigating this offense and are asking for the public’s help in identifying any suspects involved.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Glendale Police Department at 623-930-3000.
