The Glendale Police Department needs help identifying a man who robbed a local restaurant while armed.

The incident occurred Jan. 10 at about 6 p.m. at Cracker Barrel, 9312 W. Glendale Ave.

The suspect entered the business and selected an item for sale and approached the cashier. He then took out what police described as a black semi-automatic handgun and pointed it at the cashier. He demanded money after threatening to shoot her.

The suspect fled the restaurant with an unknown amount of money.

Police described the suspect as a light-skinned black male, about 30 years old, 5-feet-10 and between 190 and 200 pounds. He was last seen wearing a dark beanie with a ball, a dark jacket, black jeans, and gray and white tennis shoes.
