Glendale police continue to seek suspect in shooting homicide

Glendale police continue to follow leads in their search for a homicide suspect, a spokesperson said Thursday.

Irma Rivera-Martinez, 25, was working at a gas station near 51st and Glendale avenues when she was murdered between 9 and 10 p.m. this past Friday night.

GPD detectives say the suspect – a “heavy-set male” – wearing all black, including a black mask, shot the victim approximately 10 times with a handgun before he fled on foot. There have been no arrests.
