Glendale police continue investigation into 2009 homicide

Nearly eight years have passed since Glendale police found a man dead inside a home.
Officers continue to look into the incident as part of their cold case investigations.
On March 28, 2008, the Glendale Police Department responded to a shooting in the 6700 block of N. 54th Drive.
Upon arrival, officers discovered a male victim, Julian Amarillas, dead inside the residence.
Police learned a party took place at the time of the shooting.
Investigators seek the public’s assistance from anyone who may have witnessed the homicide.
