Glendale Police arrest couple for alleged abuse of 2 children

Kids age 6 and 4 confined to room in squalid apartment

The scene stunned even the police officers who originally showed up Jan. 29 at the south Glendale apartment in the 5800 block of North 67th Avenue.

A passer-by who lives in the area and was working near the complex was familiar with the apartment and the adults living there. According to Glendale Police, he saw a naked child near the window, and did not know children lived at that apartment.

He called to request a wellness check.
