Glendale Police arrested 21-year-old Kadin Alexander Daniel, a Glendale resident, on charges of custodial interference after he allegedly purchased plane tickets for himself and a 15-year-old female for travel to Iowa, without the parents’ knowledge.

Custodial interference is a Class 3 felony.

Glendale detectives are currently assisting an investigation with out of state police on possible sexual conduct with a minor offenses that allegedly occurred within their jurisdiction.

On May 20 at approximately 6:50 a.m., parents of the young girl reported she had possibly run away from the home near 6200 W. North Lane. Officers took a missing person’s report, and she was entered into the national database as a missing/runaway juvenile.

The school resource officer at the girl’s high school was contacted in case she was spotted on the campus, or if students had information of her whereabouts.

At approximately 6 p.m., police from Iowa removed the juvenile from the national missing person’s database and contacted her parents to release her into their custody.

The parents were on their way to Iowa when Glendale police were notified that she had been recovered and was possibly with a former school employee, allegedly identified as Mr. Daniel.

Mr. Daniel and the juvenile were believed to be communicating with each other through social media, according to police.
