Glendale police investigating road rage incident that involved a shooting

Glendale police officers and detectives are currently working the scene of a road rage incident on loop 101.

Glendale police are investigating a road rage incident that occurred on Saturday morning on Loop 101 near 75th Avenue.
A passenger in black Nissan Titan truck allegedly shot four rounds into the vicitm's vehicle. The driver was able to safely escape to a nearby gas station.
"DPS responded to a shooting that occurred on the Loop 101 near 75th Avenue, Glendale PD responded after the fact to assume the investigation from DPS. The shooting stemmed from a road rage incident involving two vehicles. The suspect vehicle brandished a handgun at the victim vehicle and then proceeded to fire approximately four rounds into the victim vehicle. " GPD said in a statement.
No injuries were reported from this incident.
