Glendale, Phoenix women win ADOT 2026 safety message contest

Slogans will appear throughout Labor Day weekend

PHOENIX – Drivers along Arizona highways will see new safety messages over the Labor Day weekend on overhead freeway signs, and they can thank two Valley women for reminding them to drive with care.

Kelsey Turnquist of Glendale and Michelle Dixon, who lives in Ahwatukee, have won the Arizona Department of Transportation’s 2026 Safety Message Contest:
