Glendale Silver Alert cancelled after man found

In the early morning on Monday, Glendale Police released a Silver Alert for an 84-year-old resident with dementia.

Authorities confirmed Thomas Alexander was found safe.

Alexander was estimated to have gone missing between  Aug. 27, at 8 p.m. and Aug. 28, at 12:30 a.m.

 Alexander left his home,  likely on foot, near the  51st and Northern avenues, authorities said on Facebook.
