Glendale officially certifies city’s election results

Council votes unanimously to accept canvass of Nov. 3 general election

The city of Glendale on Nov. 20 officially declared the canvass of votes cast on Election Day and adopted the results.

In all, 96,609 votes were cast in Glendale for a 75 percent turnout. Of that total, 68 percent were early votes, 7 percent came on election day, and less than one quarter of 1 percent were provisional ballots.

The precinct with the highest turnout was Beardsley with 89 percent.
