A man was found dead from multiple gunshots in Glendale Monday afternoon, and police continue to seek a suspect or suspects.
Just before 2 p.m. police say neighbors in the area of 47th Avenue and Rose Lane, some two and a half miles southeast of city hall, heard multiple gunshots. At least one neighbor stuck their head out and saw multiple people running from the area, Glendale Public Safety Communications Manager Jose Santiago reported from the scene. The people were described as “homeless.”
Once the scene was secured, police found one unidentified man dead inside an apartment. Investigators detained two individuals at the scene, but the extent of their involvement wasn’t immediately clear, and they were not called “suspects” as police continue to talk with them.
