Families are welcome to a celestial viewing adventure in Glendale.

From 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, Jan. 8, the Heroes Regional Park Library will host an expert from the Phoenix Astronomical Society who will provide a live tour of the night sky through a telescope, including planets, planetary nebulae, star clusters, and maybe even a supernova remnant.

This basic astronomy lesson is suitable for all ages.
