Glendale hits recycling targets — sometimes

Residents’ recycling bins go under 20% contamination in a few quarters

In October 2022, the city of Glendale had a contamination rate of almost 30% of the recycled materials submitted by residents.

Glendale set a goal to get that number down to 20% regularly by 2025, and it has — sometimes.
