What: Fraternal Order of Police, Glendale Lodge 12 frozen turkey drive
The Fraternal Order of Police, Glendale Lodge 12, will host its annual frozen turkey drive to benefit the Hope for Hunger Food Bank.
Last year an anonymous organization joined with members in the effort resulting in a donation of almost 300 frozen turkeys, $120 in cash, and canned food that went directly to the food bank.
This year, Glendale FOP Lodge 12 will host the event Tuesday, Nov. 21. Drop-offs accepted 7-9 a.m. in the front of each of the city’s three police stations:
Gateway, 6261 N. 83rd Ave.
Foothills, 6255 W. Union Hills Drive
Main, 6831 N. 57th Drive
Frozen turkeys, cash donations, and canned food will be accepted. Immediately following the drive, all proceeds will be delivered to Hope for Hunger, at 5605 N. 55th Ave., in Glendale.
The men and women of the FOP, Glendale Lodge 12, engage in charitable activities throughout the year.
