Glendale fire chief to retire after 45-year career

Terry Garrison’s last day will be June 10

After 45 years in public service, Glendale Fire Chief Terry Garrison will call it a career.

City Manager Kevin Phelps at Tuesday afternoon’s council workshop announced Garrison will retire with a final day of June 10 scheduled.

Garrison came aboard to lead the Glendale Fire Department in November 2015, when he replaced Mark Burdick who had retired after 32 years with the department including 12 as chief.
