While the city of Glendale considers conducting a major citywide assessment of all streets, one one-mile stretch figures to get the go-ahead for reconstruction as soon as possible.
When the city council meets for a voting meeting at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 27, among the items considered will be entering into an agreement with Combs Construction Company, Inc., out of Phoenix, for a $4.3 million project for the reconstruction of Cactus Road from 59th to 67th avenues.
The meeting takes place inside Council Chambers, 5850 W. Glendale Ave.
